Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role was Anna Garner, the main character of The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first movie role in Babysitters in which she starred in the role of Brenda Woodberg. Krause was an undergraduate majoring in drama before appearing in a variety of Off-Broadway productions. Krause also appeared in New York-based episodes of network TV series. Professionally, her parents are of American and half-Japanese descent. Nathaniel is Nathaniel's younger brother and is a highly successful director. After attending the Washington School of Ballet and performing in musicals, plays and other performances from Henry Krieger as well as Bill Russell in high school she began to focus on her passion for the arts. In high school, she enrolled at an acting school called the Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause made the decision to begin her acting career shortly after. The Equity certificate was obtained by her participation in Aida the Musical. Her career started with theatre. She was in the Huntington Theater Company's production Iphigenia 2 in 2006. 2007 was the year she played Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
